Have you ever thought about what The Breakfast Club would be like if it was an investigation into murder? This is the idea behind One of Us Is Lying, and it’s kept viewers hooked since the very beginning.

Five high school students are detained; one isn’t able to come out alive.

The four other students have a motive to commit murder, as Simon, the victim Simon was planning to reveal their secrets in his famous blog About That. In the near future, they’ll be the main suspects in the case of murder and become popularly known as The Bayview Four. Bayview Four.

After several twists and turns, the truth finally comes out. Who was the person who was the one who killed Simon?

One of Us is lying How did it happen?

At the beginning of the program, Simon goes into anaphylactic shock due to his allergy to peanuts. There is no teacher in detention at this point with big brother Nate and his well-known Addy and high-achieving Bronwyn and baseball player Cooper the only people to witness.

They contact paramedics but they can’t locate one epipen inside nurses’ offices. Simon ends up dead. The investigation by the police reveals that an individual had laced the water with peanut oil, and then taken all EpiPens from the school.

Assembled due to suspicion by the police as well as the rest students at the same school. the Bayview Four try to figure out what went wrong by secretly working together. But their secrets are secure.

Another person starts writing on Simon’s blog. Soon everyone is aware that Bronwyn took a chemical exam, Nate sold drugs to an intoxicated student who nearly drowned, and Addy was a cheater with Jake, her lover. Jake. The only thing that isn’t made out is the fact that Cooper is gay.

Addy discovers that Simon’s best buddy Janae was the person responsible for who exposed their secrets. They then with the Bayview Four confront her. Janae admits that she wanted revenge because she believed they were responsible for murdering Simon. When she is removed from About That, she realizes that someone else is in the picture.

An anonymous user is sharing their secret meetings and the police are becoming more suspicious of the Bayview Four as things continue to get more intense. Someone is stalking them, and they place an EpiPen in their locker of Addy. They are able to discover it before the police arrive. But it’s too late Nate and the police locate EpiPens hidden inside his bicycle before they can take action. He’s charged with the murder of Simon.

Who was responsible for the murder of Simon?

It turns out that Addy’s boyfriend Jake is the culprit behind everything. After Simon confesses to Jake about Addy being a cheater in a relationship with his acquaintance TJ, Jake wants revenge. He asks Simon to play pranks on the group by pouring peanut oil into his own cup to make them appear as murderers.

Jake and Simon were close friends. They played dare games with each other and fantasized about taking down posers and jocks – until Jake was a jock of his own. In the beginning, Simon isn’t sure however Jake convinces him to take on the prank in order to exact revenge on everyone he dislikes.

They discuss everything on their Xboxes and Xboxes. Simon would like Jake to be around to ensure that the other make use of the EpiPen in a proper manner. If Jake isn’t willing, Simon hints he is recording their conversations.

Jake becomes agitated and is determined to ensure Simon really does die by removing all EpiPens from the nurses’ office. Jake tries to capture Addy by putting an EpiPen inside her locker, but when it isn’t working, then he frames Nate who is the obvious suspect.

The entire story unravels as Addy discovers Simon’s Xbox handle in Jake’s chat logs. She isn’t convinced that he’s the culprit, but the others are convinced that Jake is the one responsible.

Bronwyn realizes Jake could have been near enough to put the phone that was in her bag which resulted in her being detained and he was given every chance to set the alarm for the phone, which got Addy taken to the detention center too. Addy gradually begins to realize how she is manipulative and apprehensive Jake is to her.

At Jake’s Halloween party they attempt to get Simon’s Xbox and Simon’s Xbox, which Jake was allowed to use at Simon’s wake. But Jake realizes the reason for their actions and shoots them with an assault rifle. He first targets Nate and Cooper after which he chases Addy while she flies it with her Xbox. Cooper and Janae get caught up and then hit Jake on the head. The two fight for their lives and Jake gets killed in the forest. The identity of the person who was the one to trigger.

With no choices The Bayview Four make it seem like Jake fled. They ensure that the police locate Simon’s Xbox along with Jake’s defamatory conversations. In the end, police suspect that Jake went missing due to fear of being found.

However, just as it appears as if they escaped from it, they all receive an email… And, now somebody else is aware of what transpired the night before.
